Accessibility issues revolve primarily around physical challenges and as such each case will be different. The ability to enter and exit the home, navigate inside, and access various facilities within the home involve all aspects of design. We are familiar with these issues and have developed solutions to these issues in previous designs.
Our standard plans already contain features that aid in accessibility, such as hall and stairway width, door opening width, and other structural features per plan. Understanding the nature of the challenge will enable us to help formulate a combination of structural design and hardware to facilitate the comfortable and convenient use of your new home.
Integration of solutions to accessibility issues in a custom plan requires an understanding of the challenge and experience in dealing with such issues. We are prepared to bring all our expertise to bear in designing the right combination of design, tools, and equipment necessary to provide just the right plan for your needs. Such solutions are multidisciplinary, so direction to a single material category is not useful. Please refer to our Design Ideas as a reference.
